Operating System and Application
OrientTab R100 is based on Windows 8.1
while OrientPhone Tab 4 is based on Google Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. I t can be
said that the two devices support totally different applications: R100
perfectly support the ones you usually use on your personal computer; Tab 4 can
run all Android apps. In another word, you can run .exe files on R100 while
.apk files on Tab 4. Which one is the purpose of you? I believe that you know
more than I do.
For Office?
When someone consider about Windows tablet,
the most common reason is the office ability. I’d like to say if this is the
only reason, there is another choice. OrientPhone Tab 4 is pre-installed with
the WPS for Pad, which can also edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on tablet. Don’t
believe that? This is the video of tab 4 with WPS:
Price to Price
In fact, the Windows tablets that are
available in the market are very few. It is no doubt that Surface Pro 2 is the
best one. However, I’m afraid that many people won’t spend so many dollars on
it. As a clone
of Surface Pro 2, OrientTab R100 is available at the price of $338.09 while
OrientPhone Tab 4 is $229.68. The difference between them is over $100.
Specs to Specs
OrientPhone Tab 4 (VoYo Q101S): TD + WCDMA
3G Network, 1.8GHz Quad Core Cortex A7, Dual camera 3 + 8 MP, Built-in GPS
Navigation, 10.1 inch IPS Wide Angle Screen, and Stylus pen for better
inputting.
OrientTab R100: Intel Bay Trail-T Z3740D Atom Z3740D 1.8GHz Quad Core, 2G DDR3, Intel
GMA HD 4000, 10.1 inch 1280*800 IPS Multi Touch Screen, mini HDMI 1.4a port,
smart holder 86 key chocolate keyboard, 10-point capacitance touch.
In the comparisons, I really can’t find any
reason to replace Android
tablets with a Windows one.
